• My journey with Transcend has been nothing short of incredible, filled with rewarding experiences and growth. The REALISE Programme not only prepared me for the workplace but also equipped me with essential skills that continue to shape my career. Among the most valuable lessons I gained are emotional intelligence, leadership, effective communication, and technical expertise—all of which have been true game changers.

  In my current role as a Transport Analyst for the City of Johannesburg, I engage with a wide range of stakeholders. Emotional intelligence, in particular, has been vital in helping me navigate these interactions and build strong professional relationships.

  At present, I am responsible for analysing Rea Vaya bus routes, assessing demand, identifying the most effective routes, and determining which areas require services the most.

  I am deeply grateful for this opportunity, as my career has advanced far quicker than I ever imagined. What once felt like distant dreams—or even failures—have transformed into achievements I am proud of. The REALISE Programme has truly brought out the best in me, and I am excited to see my career continue to grow at such an inspiring pace.
