• I am currently employed as a second-year candidate attorney at a law firm in Johannesburg, specialising in mining law. I have successfully completed the required competency-based examinations (Board Exams) and all other prerequisites for admission as an Attorney of the High Court, with the exception of completing two years of articles. Once I conclude my articles in January 2026, I will be eligible to apply for admission as an attorney of the High Court later that year.

  The REALISE Work Readiness Programme equipped me with the essential soft skills needed to excel in the professional world. These skills—particularly communication, professionalism, adaptability and emotional intelligence—play an integral role in the life of an attorney, and I remain deeply grateful to the programme for this foundation. From a professionalism perspective, I felt well-prepared entering the workplace, as the programme had already exposed me to the standards and expectations of a professional environment.
