    Using BEE Legislation To Get Transformation Right
    Transformation remains very emotive and complex with far-reaching social, economic, and even political impacts. Discussions on transformation still tend to provoke strong reactions, often with divergent views with key stakeholders, both in business and politics. BEE consulting companies need to recognise the importance of facilitating these conversations so that social distance amongst all stakeholders is reduced. This is where we begin.
     
    This approach together with our understanding of BEE legislation, and our deep repository of best practices enables us to assist you to successfully implement Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) in a way that is aligned to your business strategy and involves wide stakeholder participation. This acts as a positive foundation towards sustainable transformation and “Getting Transformation Right”.
    Our Story

    In 2005 Ownership Solutions was founded. The business grew and evolved with the relatively young BEE industry, and in 2008 it merged with another consultancy to become ‘Transcend’.  Since then we have grown further to be a leader in the BEE arena – with an experienced and knowledgeable team of professionals driving sustainable transformation across the South African economy in alignment with BEE legislation.

    Our Story cont.

    Through the years, Transcend split into two areas of speciality – Transcend Capital, which focuses on ownership advisory and transaction structuring,  and Transcend Corporate Advisors, which focuses on advisory across the rest of the BEE scorecard, as well as training.  We have a deep-rooted interest in education and have trained many young people from disadvantaged backgrounds in many business fields.  We also continue to run the premier transformation training course, through which we’ve trained over 7500 professionals to date.

    In more recent years, as an enterprise development venture, a Black-owned talent management business; Transcend Talent Management has joined the Transcend stable.

    With the close co-operation and the resultant synergies of the Advisory, Capital, and Talent businesses, clients receive a bespoke BEE solution that addresses not only compliance but true transformation.
