BBBEE Champions Course - Durban and Cape Town
| Broad Based BEE should make business sense⦠|
Outline
Course Overview
How does transformation and the BEE processes within an organisation thrive in a business environment that demands that we do more with less, that we look at compliance as well as sustainability, that we have a long-term view while capitalizing on the ‘quick fix’?
The revamped Broad-Based BEE Champions Course has been designed to effectively equip the designated BEE Champion or Transformation Manager with the necessary knowledge and competencies to be effective in driving transformation throughout the organisation.
To equip the BEE Champion to be effective, the Transcend 2010 BEE Champion Course has been revamped and now covers the following:
• An overview of the macro-economic context of B-BBEE in South Africa (the “WHY?” of empowerment)
• A thorough understanding of each of the seven components of the broad-based BEE scorecard, including targets and measurement criteria (the “WHAT?” of empowerment)
• A tool to plan the implementation of BEE within the organisation and manage the on-going collection of BEE data (the “HOW?” of empowerment)
• Planning the implementation of BEE in the organisation
• The insight to be able to guide buyers and procurement staff in building meaningful, mutually-beneficial relationships with key suppliers
• The capacity to update the company’s BEE position on an on-going basis through the Integrator BEE toolkit (Delegates receive a FULL version as part of the course pack, valued at R 3 990!)
• Guidance on collecting all the necessary documentary evidence in preparation of a formal Rating or Verification
• Consolidating all the theory through practical exercises and case studies
• Exposure to the calculations for points on the Scorecard
• Knowledge and Technical assessments
